Greeting from the president

Dear friends,

I am glad to welcome you on an information site European Sumo Union!

The history of creation European Sumo Union is inextricably related with histories of creation of everyone National Sumo Federations of the European continent where victories and defeats were connected together. But real sportsmen always distinguished such qualities as honesty, boldness, good breeding.

I have accepted powers from "the Father European Sumo" Guenter Romenath to which I express intimate gratitude for his support.

The purpose of my activity in the rank of president ЕСС is development European and World Sumo by strengthening friendly communications between the countries.

We were united in the Union and the basis of it is development of the apolitical purposes. The European Sumo Union has fine sports traditions. European wrestler's sumo always achieved dazzling successes in World Events. Absolutely soon they will represent sumo Europe on VIII World Sports Games in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. This important and socially significant event in world sports movement which embodies moral ideals and principles of Olympic movement during a life.

Such sports events unite courageous and strong spirit of people.

I wish all successes, light prospects and moral satisfaction from results of sports activity.
